Kickstart Triathlon clinic:
May 23 & 30, 2010, Saskatoon, YWCA, 4:00 - 6:30 pm
This 2 week clinic is designed to familiarize kids with the sport of triathlon and assist them in training and preparing for the Brainsport Kids of Steel race on June 19th. The program is designed to help every young athlete improve swimming, cycling, running and transition skills in a safe and supportive environment. Fun, technique and general fitness will be emphasized. Both sessions will include a swim, run and bike session. Contact Carly to register : carly.priebe(-at)usask.ca

The best junior triathletes from across Canada will compete in Triathlon Canada's Race #2 of the Tech National Junior Race Series. The day will also include an adult sprint race and a youth draft legal race. Enter on the STAC web site.
The KOS Youth Triathlon Race Series sponsored by Sasktel and the Saskatchewan Triathlon Association Corporation

2010 Series Race Dates and Locations.
- May 1, 2010: Brent Gibson Icebreaker, University of Regina (pool swim)
- May 16, 2010: Yorkton Triathlon (pool swim)
- (3) July 11, 2010: Living Sky Tri, Pike Lake, SK (12 to 15 year old youth race as part of Jr. Elite Race)
- Athletes May Choose ONE of the following two options:
- June 19, 2010: Brainsport KOS in Saskatoon (this race is designed for the new or very young triathletes as race distances are shorter than full regulation distance) (pool swim)
- June 20, 2010: Pike Lake - Spin (this race includes youth 12-15 year olds only) (lake swim - a wet suit is recommended) (Note: It is strongly encouraged that youth 12-15 years of age planning to attend the Man/Sask Fun Challenge on August 14th, 2010 choose the Pike Lake Spin triathlon to gain experience swimming in a lake.)
